According to customs data: from January to February 2022, China imported about 1,886 tons of titanium products with an increase of 122% over the same period last year, and the import volume increased by about 1,035 tons; the import volume of titanium materials in January was 1,041 tons, the month-on-month increase was 21%; the import volume in February was 845 tons, with a decrease of 19% from the previous month.
Titanium imported products from January to February are 210 tons of titanium tubes, 186 tons of titanium plates, sheets, strips and foils with a thickness of ≤0.8mm, 83 tons of titanium plates, sheets and strips with a thickness of >0.8mm, titanium bars, rods, 92 tons of profiles and profiles, 30 tons of titanium wire, 371 tons of other unwrought titanium, 50 tons of other forged and rolled titanium and titanium products, and 19 tons of titanium powder.
From January to February, China exported about 3,864 tons of titanium products, with an increase of 30% year-on-year, and the export volume increased by about 899 tons; the export volume of titanium products in January was 2,134 tons, compared with the export volume of titanium products in December and February 2021. The export volume of titanium in February was 1,730 tons, with a decrease of 19% from the previous month.
Titanium export products from January to February were 469 tons of titanium tubes, 73 tons of titanium plates, sheets, strips and foils with a thickness of ≤0.8mm, 704 tons of titanium plates, sheets and strips with a thickness of >0.8mm, titanium bars, rods, 656 tons of profiles and profiles, 23 tons of titanium wire, 155 tons of other unwrought titanium, 19 tons of titanium powder, and 36 tons of other forged and rolled titanium and titanium products.
